Borded local bus at 8am and went to Chichen Itza. pending on which guide to read it is either a place of peace and harmony or a place of death and destruction. About 3hrs on bus. Guided tour of site then taxi for swim in sync hole.after swim we went in a taxi to a restaurant for lunch. Then another taxi back to catch the bus to merida. Once we reached merida it looked a bit dodgy but after turning left and right on the bus many times we ended up at the bus station we're the 12 of us climbed into 5 taxis. which took us to our hotel in a much nicer area. Went for a short walk then to a bar where we had some drinks and nachos then back to our hotel.
