Went on a boat trip around the lake. While on the lake we stopped at a couple of villages. At the first one we walked a few hundred metres where we could swim in the lake. At the next village we had a demonstration of local weaving. It sounds a bit boring but was actually quite interesting we also had lunch there. Cathy bought a scarf there. After the boat trip we went to a local village where we were having our homestay. We stay with a family the mother's name was sophia dad pablo they had 3 children called maria diego and pedro. Luckily the daughter maria you are a few words in english and had a book she had made at school which had some english and spanish words in it. We had dinner with about five families and were treated to music played on a local instruments. We have our own bedroom and just near the door our own toilet. The buildings Is mainly block concrete. There is no policeman in the village and they have a chief set sorts out problems.
The bed was quite hard and the sheets very prickly we slept ok
Next morning we had breakfast of coffee scrambled eggs and beans.
